Welcome to Sweet P's – A Heartfelt Trochu Favourite!

Sweet P's has been proudly serving Trochu since 2004, evolving from our humble beginnings as the Trochu Dollar Store into a beloved community hub for gifts, treats, and more. Over the years, we've embraced change to better serve our neighbours. In 2011, we introduced coffee to the mix, followed by frozen yogurt in 2019, and expanded even further in 2020 by rebranding as Sweet P's to reflect our growing focus on unique gifts. Most recently, we added flowers, plants, and helium balloons to brighten up your special occasions. Every addition is inspired by one goal: bringing joy to Trochu.

Sweet P's is more than just a business—it's a family tradition. Women-owned and proudly operated by Brenda (our founder and "The OG" since 2004) and her daughters, Courtney and Kailyn, Sweet P's is truly a family affair. Brenda's other daughter, Tanis, and granddaughter, Kaytie, often help out, and some of the little ones and other family members lend a hand behind the scenes. We believe that our family spirit shines through in everything we do, and our customers feel like part of that extended family, too.

We're thrilled to share that 2025 will be a year of exciting growth for Sweet P's! With our current space packed to the roof, we're building a brand-new store to create a bigger and better shopping experience. The new building will open in the spring, complete with fresh offerings and surprises. As Trochu thrives and grows, we're proud to grow with it, always staying connected to the community we love by donating and supporting local causes wherever possible.
